Due to the lack alternative sources of clean water in South Sudan, there is very high consumption of plastic mineral water. The rising temperatures influence this use during the dry seasons. These two considerations attracted over 20 water companies with daily producing capacity of fifty thousand bottles which are consumed and disposed all over the city.
